In this time of crisis, when all of us are trying to resort to healthy practices, it's very essential to know certain go to and easy cooking breakfast recipes which are quick, tasty, filling, and obviously healthy. So here is one of such recipes that I tried my hands on- called Banana Oatmeal Shake. It's easy, filling, quick, and healthy.

Ingredients:

A cup of rolled oats.

2-3 Seedless Dates.

An inch of cinnamon stick.

2 Ripe Bananas.

A cup of plain water.

Half cup of roasted peanuts.

A Tablespoon full of chia seeds.

How to prepare:

  1. Take a pan and put in all the rolled oats in it. Roast it for good 10-15 minutes. This step is necessary so that raw oats do not lead to bloating or stomach upsets.

  2. In a blender, pour in these rolled oats, add water and churn it well.

  3. Once the rolled oats are properly dissolved, add in the ripe bananas.

  4. Break the cinnamon sticks into 5-6 pieces and add them.

  5. To increase the sweetness, you can add some jaggery powder or seedless dates into it.

  6. Once all of it is in, churn the blender to form a smoothie.

  7. Make sure to run it at high speed for good 5 minutes so that the smoothie turns out without any chunks of bananas or dates.

  8. Pour all of this into a mason jar.

  9. Top it over with some peanuts and chia seeds. If you wish, you can add some cut walnuts and cashews too in it.

Having a jar of this smoothie can make you stay filled for hours. Have some warm water post this meal and you are good to go!

Happy Shaking!!!
