Every one of us wishes for a healthy start to our days. Eventually, its said that "when there is perfect pancakes flip, there is life!" So read on to know one of the easiest recipes of the pancakes. Its tasty, easy, quick, and healthy.

Ingredients:

2 Eggs.

1 cup All-Purpose Flour Or Wheat Flour.

1/2 cup Sugar or Jaggery.

1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda.

1/2 cup Milk.

1 Ripe Banana.

1/2 cup melted Butter.

3 Teaspoons Honey.

How to Prepare:

  1. Break the eggs in a bowl. Give them a good whisk for 2-3 minutes. Eggs will froth up. This will ensure that our pancakes rise and are light.

  2. Add sugar to it and whisk for another 2-3 minutes.

  3. Sieve the flour in another bowl. Add baking soda to it and mix both together.

  4. To the egg bowl, add this flour mix and fold them. Add milk and fold again for 2-3 minutes. Let it sit for 5 minutes. This makes our pancake batter. Pancakes are light and healthy only when you fold them softly and for the minimum required time. Overbeating may lead to flat and bland pancakes. (Hence avoid it.)

  5. Switch on the stove at medium flame. Place the non-stick pan on it and let it warm up. Pour two-three drops of butter and spread it in the entire pan. Take a ladle and pour a dollop of batter on the warm pan.

  6. Drizzle it with some butter. Within minutes the pancake shall start to rise. Turn the pancakes and cook till they are golden brown.

  7. Once done, fluffy pancakes are ready to serve. Serve the pancakes with pieces of banana with some drizzle of honey on top.

Using jaggery powder instead of sugar and wheat flour instead of All-Purpose Flour makes a more healthier and less calorie version of pancakes. I tried experimenting by replacing flour with oats mix. Do try it. Pancakes are quick, healthy, and tasty breakfast options. It ensures just the right amount of calories, proteins, fats, and carbs needed to start the day. The drizzle of honey shall ensure your day goes sweet and light! Remember, there is hardship in everything except in eating and making pancakes!

Happy Pancake-ing!
